Hey everyone :)
My name is Dominique, I'm an 18 year old girl who has decided to share her life with the online world! This blog is going to be a diary of every day that I experience, so I hope you enjoy :)
Another day, a lot more snow...
I woke up this morning to hear my phone bleeping, recieving a text from my friend to say school is closed. Yes! No double chemistry today, cashback.
I crawled back into bed and could see in the glimpse of my mirror the state of the birds nest on top of my head - I will have to sort that out later, to be honest I couldn't care right now!
So I got up (eventually) to have some breakfast, and secretely celebrated the fact that my ex-(loser)boyfriend has left the country for a week. Maybe I should explain a bit more about him, and you can gather the conclusions for yourselves. He is my age, yet behaves like an immature child, and spent more of his time on the Xbox than with me. So far, doesn't sound too bad, until you uncover the tiny fact that he liked someone else the whole time he was with me, refused to take me to the summer ball (an event every girl looks forward to) and loved to make me cry. Ahh the joys of him being out of my life, I just have to put up with him for a few more months at school, parading around his new "love" who he has been with for about three months. Pur-leassssee.
To be honest I don't really care anymore, but one thing I cannot stand is when people publically eat faces. C'mon, you know who you are! I think displays of public affection are fine, but when you can see what people have had for breakfast going into another person's mouth, then I'm sorry, that's just plain disgusting. Him "eating faces" (as I like to call it) with this girl is well and truly disgusting, but then again, he was an awful kisser...
The snow outside is staring at me aimlessly, I just want to go and jump in it. This is the thing when trying to get into medical school, you have to study no matter how tempting it is to do otherwise. At least now I have a bit more time because I have left my part time job, for the pure fact they wouldn't allow me to reduce my hours. Welcome to the wonderful world of Tesco, who care more about themselves than their staff. I worked on customer services, which, was amusing to say the least. You would get your regulars every day you worked, and some members of the public were just entertaining, for the wrong reasons. I think my worse incident on that desk was when a middle aged man, who was balding might I add, asked me to put his Clubcard points on his reciept. Not only when I took the dirt stained Clubcard and the reciept was I put off, but the fact that all the receipt contained was packets and packets of condoms that he had obviously purchased. After throwing up slightly in my mouth, i gave him the receipt back to then have him wink at me. My face dropped, literally. Never have I felt so violated in my life, at least now I won't have to put up with that!
On the contrary of leaving Tesco, I now have more time to meet up with my friends and particular love interest, whom I met at an interview at a medical school. He's absolutely gorgeous, funny, intelligent AND a musician! But more on him another time... ;)
So dear bloggers I probably should get back on with my work now.
Until next time,
Dominique
