So there we have it, MORE snow which at the moment seems never ending. To be honest, it's not been a brilliant week, even more so because of the subdued snow. Ahh well, at least I can cosy up in a blanket with a hot chocolate to make myself feel a bit better :)
Went to school today, and it was finally open! Although, a little later than usual I might add. But you will never guess who strolled in to registration this morning with a smug grin on his face - that's right. Mr Arrogant, the ultimate King of ex-boyfriends. Yes dear bloggers the one I mentioned before...who, if you may recall, is supposed to be out of the country?!?!?! Oh dear, this doesn't seem too good. Especially as my day is going to consist of catching him and his girlfriend making out at every possible moment. Great, a sight we all so clearly want to see...
So I threw on my Uggs this morning, thinking they would make the most appropriate footwear for the weather conditions. It was probably a better conclusion than wearing dolly shoes, yet I still skidded all over the place like a crazy loon! Although, saying that, I don't think I have had my most embarrassing fall in them yet. When walking by a certain hill at school, I always remember when I got pushed down there by some oaf of a boy, and made the most un-lady like fall of a lifetime. I can't help but laugh when thinking back on it, but as a young teen trying to fit in, I think I ruined my "street cred". Just the skidding on my back, with my legs way over my head and my bottom stuck out for the world to see...I think you get the impression!! Not only was that one of THE most embarrassing moments of my life (apart from when I went on SMTV: LIVE), so many people saw it and everyone could not stop laughing. Needless to say that incident has never gone down quietly, and is brought up at every opportunity!
I've got a medicine interview next week. Still wondering if I will meet anyone as lovely as the guy I met at York, but I haven't heard from him in a few days. Hopefully I will meet some nice people, as York didn't go quite as planned! Generally I think I'm quite a bubbly person, and love to chat with anyone. However, when I tried to get to know some girls at York, I got the mosty peculilar answer I think I have ever had in a conversation. I will give you a little example of how it went...
Dom: "So, what are your interests or hobbies?"
Girl: "I'm sorry, are you trying to suss me out as competition?"
No love, I'm creating a conversation.
Needless to say we didn't talk much further!! Hopefully it all goes well (with my interview and the guy!), but I really have to get on now!
I will let you all know how it goes when I have my interview, fingers crossed!
